Full Stack Developer

Our Development Team is growing, and we’re looking for a Full Stack Developer who thrives in end-to-end ownership. From first conversation to final deployment, you’ll be the driving force behind full-cycle development projects—designing solutions that are thoughtful, scalable, and client-focused.
The Opportunity:
As a Full Stack Developer at Contego, you won’t just write code, you’ll lead the full software development lifecycle. You’ll work closely with clients and team members to design, build, and support modern applications across web and Windows environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading full-cycle development projects from needs analysis through post-launch support
- Conducting client interviews and translating business needs into technical solutions
- Creating prototypes, designing system architecture, and developing robust applications
- Deploying projects into production and supporting clients post-implementation
- Collaborating with other developers as needed and contributing to technical solutions
- Providing technical support related to our products and client implementations
- Creating training environments and documentation as part of client onboarding
Qualifications:
We’re looking for someone who is both technically skilled and professionally polished—confident managing their own time and communicating effectively with C-level clients.
- Proven experience with minimum 5 years of experience in full-cycle application development
- Proficiency in:
- C#, .NET, .NET Core
- HTML, JavaScript
- MS SQL or other relational databases
- API integrations (JSON, XML, etc.)
- Experience with:
- Visual Studio, SSMS, Postman
- SharePoint and Power Apps
- Solid understanding of SAML and secure authentication protocols
- Strong communication skills and ability to interface with C-suite stakeholders
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently to meet deadlines
- Experience with accounting systems, Acumatica, Microsoft Dynamics LS, or FoxPro considered an asset
- Comfortable working with or maintaining legacy codebases is an asset
- Post-secondary education in a technical field is an asset

Compensation
$80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
