As we grow, we’re looking to bring on a Business Development Coordinator to help keep our pipeline thriving and organized.​
This is an awesome part-time opportunity for a student or recent grad (business, HR, comms, or marketing) who wants hands-on experience in business development, strategy, and client growth. You’ll work closely with our President and play a key role in everything from lead gen to outreach.​
What You’ll Be Doing

  • Pipeline & Lead Management
- Manage our CRM, track follow-ups, and help nurture potential clients until they’re ready to meet with our President.
- Research prospective organizations and identify potential leads that fit our ideal client profile.

  • Outreach & Strategy
- Develop creative, professional outreach strategies (email, social, cold calls, etc.) to connect with potential clients.
- Send personalized messages that reflect our voice and brand; no generic spam here.
- Experiment with ways to re-engage past leads or current contacts who might be ready for more support.

  • Networking & Events
- Attend local networking events or industry gatherings to build relationships and increase brand visibility.
- Identify opportunities for A&A to show up where our ideal clients already are (virtual or in-person).

  • Sales Support
- Help prepare meeting materials, proposals, or presentation content as needed.
- Track outreach activities, conversions, and trends to improve our approach over time.

This is a part-time, entry-level position with flexible hours (approx. 5-10 hours/week to start). Some availability during core business hours (Mon–Thurs 8:30–4:30 MT) is needed for occasional check-ins or meetings.
Our Ideal Candidate
You’re organized, curious, and a natural connector. You’re not afraid to reach out and start conversations, and you’re energized by the idea of helping a small business grow.
​You might be a great fit if:
  • You’re a current student or recent grad in business, HR, marketing, or a related field.
  • You’re comfortable with email and phone outreach (or willing to get there).
  • You’re curious about how businesses grow and what makes clients say “yes.”
  • You enjoy writing thoughtful, professional messages and know how to keep follow-ups warm but respectful.
  • You’re organized and like keeping track of details (pipelines, timelines, touchpoints).
  • You’re self-directed, resourceful, and not afraid to ask questions when you need support.
  • Experience with any CRM is a bonus - but not required. We’ll train you.
  • You consider yourself driven, motivated, and high-performing.
  • You’re based in the Calgary region or Vancouver region, and open to occasional in-person meetups or networking events.
